The Moon, the Son & the Daughters are a folk quartet from the Scottish Borders. They are currently based in London, writing songs about whales, buffalo farms and red doors among other things. Formed in 2009 under the name The Mockingbirds, the bands sound focuses on complex female harmonies with accompaniment from ukulele, strings, percussion and whatever else they can lay their hands on.
